I just got home from seeing 500 Days of Summer. It's awesome!! Drop those lame plans for tonight and get yourself to the theater to watch the adorable style and wit and incredible way to "keep it real" that is all things 500 Days. I won't give away the plot or anything, but it's one of the most visually creative movies I have seen in awhile, surprising the viewer with split screens, a great voiceover, and ups and downs that keep it very interesting.
Obviously I give 500 Days two ENTHUSIASTIC thumbs up, but it's the two stars, Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Swoon! Who knew??) and their incredible wardrobes that truly stole the show for me. I can't even count how many sweater vests J G-L rocked in the movie, but it made me want to fast forward to October and all things fall even moreso than I already do. I'm doing all I can lately to channel my inner Zooey Deschanel. Try saying that 5 times fast. Anyway, if that means opening my eyes all wide and cocking sexy-yet-seemingly-unplanned adorable head-tilts, I'm in. Her style is incredibly inspiring to me lately, ever since I saw how adorable her clothes are in her 100% Cotton commercial. Check it out!
Looks like I'll be headed to Buffalo Exchange and a bunch of thrift stores around town....OKAY!!
