Go See This.

Last night some of my most stylish girlfriends and I went to see The September Issue.

I soaked up every minute of its glimpse it gives us into the fashion industry, and deeply into its mecca, Vogue magazine and it's queen, Anna Wintour.

The movie is an in-depth look following the creation of Vogue's September 2007 issue below.

I was surprised by it, inspired by it, and didn't want it to end. I think you'll love it.

Indulge yourself!

Happy National TV Dinner Day!

On this day, in 1953, Swanson sells its first T.V. Dinner.

Swanson, the other sibling in our house growing up, shared many a meal with me, and I just loved it. That Salisbury Steak is still warm with memories of the 80's, the always warm and confusing raspberry thing, followed by the sadly-no-longer-to-be-found Jello Pudding Pops were just the ticket for watching Who's The Boss after I finished reading my Weekly Reader.

Check out this amazing tribute to Swanson and its brilliance in finally making sense of the compartmentalized plate.

Bonus trivia question! What were the first three main courses introduced by Swanson?
(pretend this is written upside-down like any good trivia answer)
Turkey, Fried Chicken, Salisbury Steak (you can thank me later, post-Trivial Pursuit win)

Cheers to microwavable meat!

Paper Source Launches A Blog

The day that Paper Source opened in Dallas' Northpark Mall, my creativity brain molecules got an insta-jolt of inspiration. No wonder my credit card statement has subsequently gotten an insta-jolt of monotony (also see: Target.)

Anyhoo, Paper Source's tagline is "Do something creative every day" which is something we can all live by. Good thing their newly-discovered blog can help along those less-than-inspired days (see: Mondays, 8a.m..) Hopefully this will be just the beginning of a blog that will flourish with fun ideas.

Speaking of inspiring blogs that can get us off the couch and over to the crafting table, it's about time I left you in on two of my beloved blogs: iDiY or "i-do-it-yourself" blog. Not just for weddings, you can find all sorts of goodies here. Check out these DIY tins posted from my other newly-discovered and wholly-coveted The Inspired Bride blog. I am totally making these for my next book club or party I throw!

These have been great resources for helping my friends out to come up with new, inexpensive ideas to add personality to their weddings. The color palettes alone on The Inspired Bride are great for anyone interested in color. Just look at this delicious one below.
So tasteful. So yummy.

Awesomely Handy Fall TV Premiere Guide

Welcome back to the real world after the delightfully long weekend.

I'm geared up for some Fall TV Premieres, and luckily media maven Bari provided us all this this handy guide.

Are you ready for tonight? Apparently the CW is all geared up for another season of 90210 trash and the drams of Melrose Place.

I can't wait.

Set your TiVo's!
