Today

I knew I had a long day ahead and needed all the power I could find within at 6 am when I was waking up after another night of notalotasleep. So, natch, it was time to bust out the amazing pretty kitty striped tank I got over the weekend and rock the kitty princess power for my 9am meeting.
I'm pairing it with black straight-leg jeans, black heels, this crazy necklace, and a bejeweled cardigan. My work partner told me I look sparkly. PURRFECT!

I guess I will have to wait until next week to debut my new Bowtie Cats Tank.
I found this AMAZING jersey knit blazer at another teen store I hit the jackpot at, Charlotte Russe, last week which will pair with it perfectly.
This is definitely my go-to warmup for fall and will be perfect over these awkward racerback tees. Only $30! A total must-have. But must I stand like the model? She's like so whatever.

Awesome Bachelorette Recap: Finally Over

I've linked to this amazing blog before but the finale recap is definitely worth reading. Love it.

It's Hot. Let's Eat!

Allison and friends came over last night to witness the hot mess that is The Bachelorette. Let's just say I am very stoked for Bachelor Pad because that will be even hotter and even messier. YES.

Allison made these delicious lemon-lime bars that were delightfully refreshing. I found a few other recipes online that would pair nicely with them, dontcha think?

This peach grilled cheese via Macheesmo looks awesome even though I'm apathetic towards cheese. But, I do have some peaches that are ripening on my kitchen counter, I love arugula, and well, this just looks too interesting not to try.

That would go so well with these Lays chips which are awesome.

Also, if you haven't had the amazeballs that are pretzel M&M's, you need to try them. And then you need to make these. Fine, I'll make them. I was just telling my parents how I can't eat frozen yogurt or really anything chocolaty without having a pretzely dessert after that. Dessert after dessert? Yep.

I was in a meeting this morning with a woman whose nails were so distracting that I could barely focus on anything else. She had nothing on these creations. I can't look away, yet I am so scared.

My mom and I were literally doubled over in laughter tears when she admitted she was thinking exactly what I was thinking when I first took a photo of my new hair.

Hipster Wedding Videos: Awesome or Not?

Ok, so not everyone can have the sweet videographer who captures my Bat Mitzvah in April '94. I GET IT. But apparently the new trend is not a two or three or four hour video, but a 2-4 minute one. Gawd, we really have no attention spans anymore, huh? Well, I found two wedding videos posted this week. One, I love. One I find trying so incredibly hard that is makes me hateful. Tell me, what do you think? I won't tell you which one is which regarding my feeeeelings.
