An Awesome Gift For Me And You

Thanks to AAAD Reader and my work partner, Robin, my coffee table has a brilliant new addition: ABC3D by Marion Bataille. This book is awesome. It features each letter of the alphabet, popping up or sliding out. All sorts of fun. Check it out!

This would make a great gift for anyone who uses the alphabet. Get it here.

Thanks R-O-B-I-N, and Happy Spelling!

Cats + Printers = Awesome Fun

Awesomely Frugal Fashion Fridays: Wear Today, Gone Tomorrow

Thanks to the amazingly fashionable AAAD reader, Amanda, for giving me the heads up on Wear Today, Gone Tomorrow! Here's the scoop:

Its a site similar to Bag Borrow or Steal but for designer clothes. Borrow clothes for up to 90% (Did I read that right?!) off retail. I actually put a Marc Jacobs dress on hold for a party. I am renting it for $38 for a week - its a $400 dress. After that - I sent it back and I am on to the next! What a fun way to get to wear uber designer clothes (read: Pucci) and not have to try to "copy" the look at H&M. No knocking on H&M but sometimes I just want to put on something more fabulous! (You should probably order a week in advance.) Also, they have a true-fit guarantee. You can check your measurements against EACH garments size chart (because sizing can vary by designer) to make sure that whatever you order for that week comes in a size that fits you. 100% Authenticity, Fit and Satisfaction Guarantee. Sounds amazing, huh?

Here are some of my favorites.

What an amazing idea for a fancy party or wedding. Hey, my high school reunion is coming up...

Happy Styling!

How Awesome Are These Kiddo Klothes?

I'm loving these clothes from Ittikid! Great patterns, bold patterns, reasonable prices, and started by a Swedish-born designer Mom of two boys. Here are a few faves! Be sure to check out the "decor" section, too.

Happy Shopping!

BONUS POST: This Awesome Deal Can't Wait

I can't wait to tell you all about Newflower Farmer's Market here in town. There's one by my house now and it has the best deals on unbelievably delicious local produce and natural and organics. I can't believe how low the prices are on my favorite fruits and veggies. This week, I stocked up on blackberries and strawberries for 88 CENTS A CARTON. Hell-o! My mouth is thrilled. My co-workers, having to hear me suck on fruits six times a day, probably not. I'm giving you this bonus post today since Wednesday is the day to shop there (it's the same as Sprouts for those of you who live closer to one of those gems). Wednesday is the day the circulars overlap so you get both this week and last week's deals. I hope there are more berries left. Don't take them all!

Awesomely Mini Food Jewelry!

Can you tell I am on a spring kick lately? I must be hungry, too. Check out these sweet Hot Dog Stud Earrings I bought!

I have loved miniature food and drink since my dollhouse phase circa 1986. But a 3 centimeter hot dog is truly timeless, don't you think? Check out some more deliciousness from Shay Aaron on Etsy.

Love this pretzel necklace!

And who doesn't need a Juicy Green Apple Ring? That's right, I thought so.

You'll Need An Awesome Stain Remover This Spring

If you are anything like me, white pants are immediately colored like a box of Crayolas five minutes after putting them on. Translation: I am messy. And with spring and summer and dripping popsicles right around the corner, it's time to shout about ZOUT! My mom and I have been fighting stains with Zout for years, and this is the one, friends, this is THE ONE that will erase that spilled wine and sangria. (sidenote: That sounds delicious about now, huh?!)

It's An Awesome Time For A Picnic!

I hope you all had a great Mother's Day! I wanted to share a picnic with my mom for MD, but we had a delightful ladies lunch at the tea room at one of our favorite antique malls. It was totes adorable! Anyhoo, we have all summer for picnics! I have some picnic staples, but was thrilled to see Real Simple's new 4 Fast, Delicious Picnics article! How awesome does this look?

I will be wearing this there.
Hopefully the ants won't find me!

I can't wait to head to the park and eat and chill. Meet me at the potato salad!

Happy Mother's Day to my amazing mom, sister-in-law, aunts, friends, etc. etc. Moms out there never cease to amaze me with their endless energy, open arms and ears.

Also, it's been an amazing pleasure to be "Mom" to Bertie for the past 5 years.
Now I'm off to spend the day with mine!

Call Home!
