Nom Nom Nom Easy Nom

As AAAD reader Alice one said, "I don't know where these Archer Farms are, but I want to visit there."

Here's another hit from the aisles of Target: The Archer Farms Mushroom Cavatappi.

You must make this pasta. I made this and ate it three nights in a row last week. Happily. Cold. Hot. It's a no-FAIL. I grilled up chicken with it and there's enough of this delish mushroom sauce for all of the pasta and the chicken. It's as easy as Hamburger Helper but tastes so much richer. I'd seriously order this in a restaurant.

Do you know of any Archer Farms products to try?

Enjoy!

Great Finds At Target

How many posts do I have regarding Target? A lot. Whatevs.

Two fun things to post today. I picked up this reusable bag for free with the purchase of two bags of Halloween M&Ms.
Pretty fun, huh? It would be a great trick-or-treating bag. I took it to the office loaded with snacks I picked up for the office, including these Kashi Pumpkin Pie bars.
THESE ARE AWESOME. Go get 'em. Trust.

And I actually left Target only buying one non-essential* item. (*not really sure where I am drawing the line on non-essential.) I picked up a new pair of fake Uggs for the season. They have a great grey color which looks nice and versatile with black or brown. Also, my old pair from Target has lasted through many a tromp in the rain, sleet, and "snow" (see: Texas winter) and were still in decent shape, but it's time to move on. Anyhoo, the lining on these is super soft. More like slipper soft than sheepskin.Whether or not you like this style, they really are handy to have around. Check out all the cold weather boots from Target here.

Million Dollar Listing Is Back And Better Than Ever

Get the Rachel shirt here.
I miss Rachel Zoe...but dammit, Bravo, you have done it again! You have taken my night and just forced me to watch your totally addictive headcases on tv. Okay fine, now that another Rachel Zoe has wrapped, I guess I got a littttttttle bit less tied up, but now you sucked me in with another season of the hugest douches that I hate to love and love to love and then talk about at work the next day: the stars of Million Dollar Listing. Just look at the teeth on these guys?Oh well, whatever, I love this shiz. Are you watching? If so, let's discuss.

USA: Rocking The World in London

This past weekend was great. My Longhorns won, and I had a fun Sunday seeing Whip It and designing some totally awesome 80's party invites for a friend. But, my favorite part was waking up at 7am boooooth Saturday and Sunday to watch the U.S. gymnastics team rock the World Championships in London. All four of the girls representing the US of A took home individual medals. My favorites Bridget Sloan and Rebecca Bross went 1-2 in the All-Around, respectively. Here are two of their routines.

Bross on Beam: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEYl0-lzeRE
Sloan on Floor: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgFOkPT4Kts

In celebration of London and looking ahead to 2012, I impulse bought this poster, coming all the way from, you guessed it, London. I can't wait to put this up.

Carry On The Legacy, Ladies! Started by Kim Zmeskal winning the AA Gold in Indianapolis in '91. One of my favorite gymnastics moments yet.

Be Your Own Hero!

I just got back from seeing Whip It with AAAD Reader Kristie. Wow, what an awesome fun time. I was jonesin' to see this movie since the minute AAAD Reader Pablo sent us the trailer. Here is it again below.

If you haven't seen this yet, go. Now. Then comment here and I will send you the soundtrack, which is equally badass and fun.

The movie stars Ellen Page who is so natural and likable as Bliss, who finally finds a way to be moved, which just happens to be on the roller rink. I loved Kristen Wiig and Jimmy Fallon in this, as well as Drew Barrymore who brilliantly directed. It was a joy to watch and made Kristie and I promising ourselves and each other to hit the roller rink ASAP. Pretty convenient, since it's National Roller Skating Month.

If I didn't have a bad back, there is not a chance in hell that I would not attempt to be a roller derby chick. Hell on wheels, baby, hell on wheels. So classic!

Let's roll!
