Although, every time I think, "Wow, I should really find a boyfriend...but Bert is so nice and cute and never interrupts me. OMG I am a CCL! Help!," there's someone who blows me waaaaaaaay out of the water. Way out, people. That's why I am so pleased to see fellow CCL and J-named Julie Jackson and Jill Johnson publish this gem of a read: Glamourpuss: The Enchanting World of Kitty Wigs. OMG. Have a looksie.
This is one step away from a TLC reality show about Cat Owners and Their Crazy Adventures At Cat Shows (one of the most bizarre experiences in my life and favorite memories in Albuquerque) and I am oh so fine with it.
Order it here (Hanukkah and my half birthday are only a few months away!)
Thanks to fellow cat mom and AAAD Reader Lynn for the link! Meowsers! Pia The Pig
Cupcakes are huge right now (obvi), but check out these literally huge tall cupcakes via Sugarbloom Cupcakes along with a fabulous tutorial on how to make them.
I'm not sure I'd be able to eat anything I made that came out so gorgeous. Well...let's be honest. That wouldn't be a problem. Thanks Gina for the link!
And speaking of cupcakes, run on over to Sprinkles through September 19 to pick up these adorable Dallas Cowboys Blue Velvet cupcakes. All proceeds benefit The Salvation Army. Every day during that promotion, one cupcake will be baked with a silver star inside it. If you find that silver star, you win a behind-the-scenes tour of the new Cowboy Stadium for two. And, your name will be entered in a drawing to win four tickets to the Thanksgiving Day game, and an autographed football.
I have thoroughly soaked up every glittery moment of the VMA's this year. Even before the show began, I decided I was going to dedicate an entire post to Taylor Swift being able to pull of a red lip like nobody's business, (LOOK AT THIS LOOK!) but then this craziness happens, and I couldn't accurately report an awesome of today without showing this amazing display of class brought to you by Beyonce and Taylor Swift.
Two awesome performers. Two awesome ladies. One nice move.
You rocked that leotard as well as Team USA, Beyonce. Cheers, B. Pia The Pig
