Today my design idol Jessica Hische tweeted that she was sitting near Noah Sheldon of Cats Wearing Clothes, which I clicked and found this photo which is the epitome of awesome.
Continuing your shopping spree that I am encouraging this weekend, hit up The Limited for their Friends & Family Event, with 40% off your entire purchase. I'm wearing some black skinny jeans from there as I type, and they are fab and have not faded in the slightest. Their new wedding line is great looking, too. Stock up on some dresses for those summer weddings. I have a whopping four weddings in a row in June. Perhaps it's time to buy something new.
I spotted this bag the other day. Might have to pull the trigger!
AND! PANTY RAID at Victoria's Secret this weekend. 7 for $25. Enough said.
Hello Awesome Readers! I have a lot of fun posts for today. First things first: big sales this weekend. Both Joann and Michael's are celebrating National Craft Month and Friends and Family by giving a whopping 25% off your entire purchase. There is some awesome stuff in the dollar bin at Michael's now, which starting Sunday will be the 75 cent bin. Get on it. Here are the Michael's coupons, which you can now just show on your phone. And Joann, too! Happy crafting! Pia The Pig
I just checked up on Christina's blog to see that she had given birth to gorgeous triplets when this post by her caught my eye. But it's my ears that are really singing, as she paired this fabulous song with the words from The Optimist Creed mug she was drinking from at the time of the post.
“Promise yourself…to be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet. To make all your friends feel that there is something in them. To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true. To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best. To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own. To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile. To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others. To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.”
Fabulous words to live by. Congrats, Christina, and thanks for the afternoon pick me up! Pia The Pig
So I went on a little backblog journey through Eat Drink Chic and bookmarked about 50 posts, but I CANNOT wait another minute before posting about Katie Daisy, who I discovered from this post. I love her style! Katie's work puts a smile on my face and a drop to my jaw when I read she's only 23. I have a cart full of her prints on Etsy and can't wait to smile at them every time I glance at them. Enjoy!
A few months ago, AAAD Reader and Martha-lover Gina suggested that I sign up for Martha's Craft of the Day emails. What a treat these have been. Ever morning along with my coffee comes a great, relatively simple DIY project in my inbox. While I have yet to make any of these, today's decorative tray might just get things started.
How cute and awesome is this? I'm also kinda nutso for stripes lately. This is perfect for my new office, which, I promise, you'll see photos of later this week.
They would go quite well with my newly-redesigned office which I am so excited to post about once it's all tricked out. In other news, PB Teen seriously has some fun stuff if you can get over the price tag. Sheesh!
