Let's Have An Awesome Weekend


Hey kiddos! Lots of fun to be had around town this weekend. I'm stoked to support the pets while enjoying pet-parent made videos at the SPCA Petflix. I hope you can find something below to spark some fun. If not, turn on the sprinklers and live it up!


Parker Hawn Vintage Trunk Show

Parker Hawn Vintage is hosting a summer collection trunk show from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Hadley & Harriet courtyard (3922 Lemmon Ave.), with drinks, eats and giveaways and guest DJ Mr Rid (formerly of the Starck Club) spinning retro. Owner Pam Scrima's selection of '60s, '70s and '80s finds are all priced under $50 -- expect some designer name scores.

Fleetwood's Kit Kat bicycle rental

Movie-spoofing has rarely been in better hands than the "Mystery Science Theater 3000" team. The cult TV show, which ran on several networks including Comedy Central, went off the air in 1999.
