Awesome Shorts: No longer an oxymoron

I vowed to never wear shorts outside of a gym since the day I graduated high school. Everything fit so much better back then, didn't it? Since shorts got shorter and my legs got paler, there just hasn't been the right pair out there. I've just either looked Bad In Bermudas (even though I do love Bermudas, not that there's anything wrong with it) or had to battle that inner-leg sweat brought on by The Sundress.
Well, ladies, I've found a solution. The Ann Taylor Loft Twill 6" Shorts. NOTE: my legs do not look like the model's. BUT! These shorts really work. (Tested for three weeks in a row now.) They aren't too short, aren't too tight (their stuff runs a little bit big, which I love) and don't make me feel like I'm trying to uncomfortably squeeze into anything at Abercrombie (more on that later). These are reasonably-priced and come in four colors. I'm definitely going back to get more. See you at the park, rockin' these!

Hope you're having an awesome weekend!

  1. All of your posts have been great so far, but this is my favorite. There was a point in time when I thought the shorter the shorts the better. During my freshmen year in high school I think I got in trouble every day for violating the school dress code. So much so that I carried a pair of extra jeans in my locker just it case I got busted and had to change. I'm glad I grew out of that phase! Anyway, I can attest to the perfection of these shorts. They are short enough to keep you cool and long enough to hide cellulite.

P.S. Have you seen the shorts in the teen stores lately? I swear the inseam is ¼”.
